“Hope”

Hope for the Pope. ~Madison E.

Hope

Hope was in a little case,

concealed from all the world,

until she saw Pandoras face,

and her smile dipped and curled.

She leaped out of the little box

and squealed,

“Oh now I’m free!”

So Pandora said,

with hate in her head,

“troubles will befall me!”

She grabbed hope,

heard a nope,

and shoved her back inside.

And now hope is gone,

hope is gone,

hope has gone “bye bye!”
